Q: How long do treatments take?
A: Standard sized 3 bedroom homes are completed in around 1 hour.
Q: Do I need to do anything in preparation for treatment?
A: No. Our treatment process is very convenient.
Q: Do I need to leave the premises while the treatment is done?
A: Yes. To provide you with the safest solution - all occupants must vacate while the treatment is carried out for your protection from mould contact.
Q: How long must we leave for?
A: In standard cases 1 hour for treatment plus 1 hour to ensure any airborne toxin particles have been eliminated and/or any allergens have settled. We like for our customers to return to a fresh and toxin free environment. Average 2 hours total in typical situations.
Q: What is ULV fogging?
A: Our specialised Ultra Low Volume fogging equipment enables us to use a small amount of product to cover a very large area with an even and consistent layer - dispersed as a super fine mist which penetrates into crevaces and small spaces where other methods are unable to.
Q: What must I do after treatment?
A: In most cases any visible eliminated mould is easily wiped off with a cloth. In more serious cases where prolonged or aggressive mould has caused permanent staining, these surfaces will require re-painting or in very severe situations where mould has caused material degradation, these materils may require replacement.
Q: How long will the treatment last?
A: Forcefield is laboratory tested & proven to remain active for 30 days, real world use has shown up to 4 years. In typical situations we recommend annual treatments to keep mould contamination at a safe level. In situations where external factors are higher than usual we may recommend shorter intervals between treatments.
Q: I think I've got mould how can I be sure?
A: Unless we have treated your premises in the last 12 months it's most likely you have mould to some degree whether you can see it or not. Mould is a naturally occurring organism, over 90% of the ground we walk on is mould.
